Some residents of the village decided to pool ideas and resources to investigate and publish the history of Gringley on the Hill. Door to door leaflets invited people to an initial meeting in September 2010 at the Village Hall. This attracted about 30 people and preliminary plans were made. Further meetings since at the Blue Bell have confirmed the support and good progress is now being made.
